Dr James Harris is married with three children and worked as a GP in Sussex before moving to Spain. He has been qualified for 22 years and has extensive experience in General Practice and Emergency Medicine.

He was previously a UK Government advisor, divisional officer with  the British Medical Association  for 12 years and served 6 years as an elected council member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

His media experience has included TV work with breakfast TV, Sky News and the BBC, radio appearances with the BBC and his written work has appeared in numerous consumer and professional publications. He currently writes a medical page every wednesday for The Majorca Daily Bulletin.
