It is our belief that most people would rather be treated as an
out-patient either in our medical centres or at their hotels or
apartments. We therefore do everything possible to facilitate
this including organising medical and nursing care, physiotherapy
and social back-up in the home/hotel setting.
Only when hospitalisation is unavoidable do we arrange hospital
admissions for our patients. When this decision has been made
we discuss with the patient which hospital would be best for them
taking into account as many factors as possible including medical
expertise, hospital location, language, etc.
Once we have arranged hospital admission for a patient our role
does not end there. We are in constant communication with the
hospital, overseeing treatment, organising communication with
friends and relatives and above all ensuring that patients are
not "over treated" and are discharged as quickly as
possible so that they can continue to enjoy their holidays and
lives.
